They met in late spring of 2008.  Ani was out with some friends for a night out in DC and Craig, a DC police officer, was working that night.  They started conversing outside the bar and he asked her out.  She said no at first, but they kept in touch. Few months later…she said yes…and they had their first date….

The first date location was…well, Washington DC, where they first met and where they later will have their fabulous engagement session.

Craig was a DC police officer, but has recently been promoted as a DC detective Ani is a registered nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Department at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

They both love to eat out and try out different culinary cuisines, but because of this they also go to the gym together:)  Ani has always loved to travel (she actually has a personal goal of traveling to 30 countries by the time she is 30 years old) and has convinced Craig to join her on her recent adventures. Craig really, really !!!  enjoys sports, so he’s taken Ani to watch lots of sporting events over the years.

Random sweet goofy fact about Craig: He knows anything and everything about every single Saved By The Bell episode.

And Ani? She is quite OCD about her closet – her clothes are organized by color, and all her hangers are the same, and her shoes are according to style. {*** a special reminder to self: I really need to convince her to hit my closet for her therapeutic pleasure:}

One of the main reasons I started blogging again is this wedding {among so many others, you’ll see}. Their wedding was hands down the most elegant sophisticated affair I have ever photographed in my life, and that day I was in photographer’s heaven. Every detail of this day was plain gorge.

Best of all, few of my former brides & Grooms were in the bridal party, so I got to hang out with them again….how awesome is that?

The day started perfectly at the inner harbor in Baltimore.

YEY, my lensbaby shot of the dress…I am dork, sorry.These kimonos were so beautiful,so I had to photograph the girls with them while keeping the image PG-13
Ani made a stunning bride..His face says it all…The best reaction of a groom seeing his bride for the first time on his wedding day
So after the ceremony ended, we went outside to take some fun shots…We were about to leave to the Peabody Library, but then one of the groomsmen told me “you got to see the underground of this building, and I said whaaat? let’s go!!! This place was dark, but we made it work:)When we entered to this room, I was speechless…and to all of you who know me, it does not happen too oftenAfter I shot tons of detail shots, we went out to have some more fun….

* Let me share with you a little secret..Ani & Craig did not rent the car below, it happend to be right by the church across the street, so we “borrowed” it for few minutes.

It was a perfect fall evening, and with the help of a little flash and super fun bride maids,I had just a regular day at the office….NOT…seriously, I love my job!

The guys are being utterly cool…A little bit of mix lightingcan you tell I am in love with this room?oh my…they brought their A-gameparTAY time… and this crowd knows how to party….

Anne {the maid of honor} and Luis {the guy that sits by the table and adores his wife} were the first couple from this awesome group to get married, and I photographed their 2005 wedding. Fast forward, Luis is an awesome music producer/photographer, and Anne is a fabulous fashion blogger, and we are all sad they are moving to California:(The BEST vendor meal EVER!!!
I caught the best man few minutes before his speech.
They are such a fun bunch!!!
So Julia, my amazing assistant, took these while I hit the dance floor at the end of the night, and I had to include them {even though I look like a hot mess…don’t judge}
ye, they know how to party:))

Ani & Craig,

Your day was nothing short of perfection. Thank you for allowing me to capture your love.

Keep rocking!!

Kelsey & Tommy: Wedding {Herrington on the Bay, Chesapeake Bay}

They met in the summer of 1995 for the first time. She was 7 and he was 9. They were both swimmers on the same team, and they became friends. Tommy thought she was a smart, motivated, and sweet person….yes, he totally had a childhood crush, so in order to see her, he used to ask his parents to go play with her brother, Adam:) . Their moms always used to tease them that they would date one day in the future, and like all moms {wink, wink}, they were right:)

Years went by, and Tommy started looking at Kelsey in a different way, … she was still smart, motivated, and sweet, but he noticed how beautiful she was inside and out….his feelings got stronger. Little did he know that she all these years, she has had the same feelings for him, but was too shy to say anything.

The turning point of their love story was when Kelsey went to an high school dance with Tommy’s friend, Jesse…. when Tommy saw her that night wearing a yellow dress, looking all amazing, he made sure to spend as much time as he possibly could with her and FINALLY got the courage and asked her out, few days later they started dating.

15 years {!!! }After they first met and about a century after they start dating, Tommy took Kelsey to Ocean City, Got down on one knee, and ask her to be his wife.

Sooo , this couple are meant to be or what?

Yes, I promise!!! I am not telling you a plot from the recent romantic novel I just picked from Barnes & Nobles {are they still exist?} the story of these two is unreal, just like their wedding day that happened to be exactly a year ago.

Kelsey & Tommy, happy anniversary, and for many more to come!!

PS, enjoy your cruise

Ariel H: High School Senior {Rockville, MD}

Yes, it has been a long time, I definitely neglected this blog, and not because I didn’t have anything to share….I had… a LOT… many weddings, many Engagements, maternity sessions, newborns, and families…and countless of personal blog posts. It has been an interesting ride, these last 2 years of my life, and I definitely need to write a separate blog post {well, who am I kidding? Inbal More trilogy is in the making} about it, but for now…. I need to move on, start sharing more…images, feelings,concerns, heartbreaks, and joy.

I will definitely revisit all my photo shoots from the last two years and share, but for now, I like to tell the story of Ariel.

IN 1997 {yes, I am old} when I just came to the US, so yes, Fresh Out of the Boat:)I was scared, did not know what to expect, barely knew the language, and was lonely; then, I met this vivacious new mom….care guessing? Yes, it was Ariel’s mom, Irit…we were in different stages in our lives, but we formed a bond.

16 years later…..Irit’s baby became this gorgeous girl:)))

High School Senior

Ariel is a Senior at Walter Johnson High School. She is a writer and about to publish her first novel, Prinzessin. She enjoys reading, especially Jane Eyre, Atonement and The Hunger Games saga. She will be majoring in English, and looks forward to her freshman year at college.

Seriously, there are no words…

This girl loves

* Blogging and talking to her friends on Facebook

* Travel and one day she would love to travel all of Europe

* Superheroes, her favorite hero is Red Arrow

* Thee show Young Justice

*The Notebook

But her love for her family did not need to be mentioned

Ariel, you are so beautiful, smart, lovely young woman, and Romy and myself had so much fun hanging out with  all of you

Happy Halloween muhaaaahaha

Hope you all are having a gorgeous Halloween. I am still trying to make sense of the weather here on the East Coast. I just can’t believe that on Saturday I photographed my first snow wedding of the season in October!! While the next day, I was hanging out with Romy at the Leesburg Animal Park and soaking up the beautiful sun. What in the world?

On a great note, Romy won first prize the 2nd year in a row, for the most original costume, at the contest they have every year at the Leesburg Animal Park. She was dressed as Elmo and she brought her friend…guess who? Yes, Elmo himselfJ

Trick or Treat everyone

Happy Jewish New Year {Rosh Hashana}

Yes, I have neglected my blog for a while, but it is all about to change. After all, it is the beginning of a new year…well, the Jewish New Year that is… and a resolution is in order.

One of the religious traditions of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur is the Shofar {horn} blowing; hence, the weird, yet interesting looking object in Romy’s mouth.

Inbal More Photography wishes a sweet new beginning to our family, friends and clients… hmm, a little redundant considering our clients become family/friends. May the New Year bring peace, prosperity, good health and a world filled with laughter and love.

I leave you with the images of our two main divas, whom I love dearly….and let me tell you, if these two are in the same picture frame… hugging… I have hope for peace all over the world.

Xoxo,

Inbal
